As a Director of RWDI Anemos, Anton provides an interface between RWDI Anemos and their partner firm in Canada. Technology interchange and business development are his two key undertakings at this time.
Anton joined Rowan Williams Davies & Irwin Inc. (RWDI) in Canada in 1977 after completing his doctoral thesis for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toronto. During his years with the firm, Anton has provided leadership to a wide range of wind engineering and environmental projects. Anton has also had leadership roles in the Canadian Environmental Industry Association, Canadian Environmental Exporters council, the Air and Waste Management Association, and the Canadian Wind Engineering Association. Aside from his role as a Project Director of RWDI, he is the Vice President responsible for the development of emerging markets, and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for RWDI Group.

Paul started work as a wind engineer in 1979 and worked in a range of industry roles with well-known UK companies such as WS Atkins, BT and Redland. He has worked on a wide range of projects covering both structural and environmental studies but has particular expertise in wind environment studies, building product performance testing and driving rain analysis. In 1993 Paul started a successful 9-year spell as an independent consultant, after which he teamed up with Nick Cook and Wayne Pearce to form Anemos Associates Limited in 2002. Anemos joined with RWDI in September 2004 and was renamed RWDI Anemos Limited, with Paul as Managing Director, and under his leadership has gone from strength to strength, offering wind tunnel testing and desk studies across a wide range of areas. In 2006 Paul was appointed Principal and in 2008 as General Manager of WAM International, adding the UAE and India offices to his UK responsibilities. In the wider engineering community Paul has been an active member of BS code committees and the UK Wind Engineering Society for many years, and was proud to serve as WES Chairman from 2003-5.

As Chairman, Peter is responsible for the efficient operation of RWDI Anemos. Peter's leadership comes from being the President of Rowan Williams Davies & Irwin Inc. (RWDI) since 1999, and his wind engineering experience dating back to 1974. His experiences includes extensive research and consulting in wind loading, aeroelastic response, wind tunnel methods and instrumentation, six years of wind engineering work as a research officer with Canada's National Research Council, and two years with the Royal Aircraft Establishment in Farnborough, Great Britain. Peter earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. He has published over 100 papers and won several awards for his work, including the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering's Gzowski Medal in 1995. He serves on several committees for codes and standards, such as the Standing Committee on Structural Design for the Canadian Building Code and the wind committee of the US ASCE 7 standard.

Frank joined Rowan Williams Davies & Irwin Inc. (RWDI) in Canada in 1984 as a Technical Coordinator with a focus on microclimate and air quality services. Since 1990, he has been involved in the management of multi-disciplinary projects addressing a range of microclimate issues for building design and community planning. In 1997, Frank became a Principal and has taken on progressively challenging leadership roles that continue to evolve to meet the needs of RWDI. Frank has a bachelors degree (Environmental Studies) from the University of Waterloo, has a diploma of technology (Civil Engineering) from Conestoga College of Applied Arts and Technology, is a Certified Engineering Technologist, is a member of the Ontario Association of Engineering Technicians and Technologists, and is a charter member of the Project Management Institute. As a Director of both RWDI Anemos Limited and RWDI Group Inc. Frank offers assistance with the interface between the firms.

After graduating in Aeronautical Engineering and obtaining a PhD from City University in London, Wayne joined the University of Nottingham as a post-doctoral researcher. He then moved to the University of Bristol, taking over the day-to-day running of the testing business built up by Tom Lawson in the Flow Centre. Wayne was a founder member of Anemos Associates when it was formed in 2002 and became an Associate Director in the merged RWDI Anemos in 2006, when he also became an Associate of RWDI Group. Wayne was appointed as Director in April 2007 and has responsibility for Operations. In this role he is able to draw on experience of a wide range of commercial and industrial development projects, advising on wind environment, loading and dispersion problems.

Nicholas Cook graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering in 1969, followed by a PhD from research in wind loads on buildings in 1971. For several years he assisted Tom Lawson at Bristol in consultancy services for the construction industry. He joined the Building Research Establishment in 1973, researching on wind loading of buildings for updating design guidance, codes of practice and regulations, leading the research from 1979. In 1984 he was awarded a DSc for his work in this field. During this time he conducted wind tunnel studies for the design of many buildings and structures in the UK and overseas, including the River Hull Tidal Surge Barrier, the Singapore Airlines Hangar at Changi, the Princess of Wales Conservatory and the Ibrox Stadium. In 1990 he was appointed Director, Geotechnics and Structures, at BRE. He left BRE in 1995 to start his own Wind Engineering consultancy, returning to Bristol in 1999 as Professor of Industrial Aerodynamics. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has served on the drafting panels for the UK wind loading code CP3:ChV:Pt2, its successor BS6399-2, and the Eurocode EC1. He is author of the BRE "Designer's guide to wind loading" series of books and "Wind loading: A practical guide to BS6399-2", the definitive commentary on the current UK code. Having been a founder Director of Anemos Associates, Nick became an Executive Director of RWDI Anemos and now acts as an Adviser to the Board.

As an Advisor of RWDI Anemos, Colin brings great experience, especially in the field of wind combined with snow and ice. Colin has been with the Rowan Williams Davies & Irwin Inc. since 1974 and has been a Principal since 1976. His project involvement with the company has been primarily with snow control and pedestrian level wind studies. His work in microclimate studies has ranged from preparing basic guidelines for use by planners in developing guidelines to control downtown microclimate conditions, to the detailed design of remedial solutions for wind related problems at industrial plants and for high rise buildings. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University in Wales, and M. Sc and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor with a Fluid Mechanics Specialization.
Colin was previously a Director of RWDI Anemos.
