In July 2004, Rowan Williams Davies & Irwin, Inc (RWDI) of Canada and Anemos Associates Ltd of England agreed to merge and form a new company called RWDI Anemos Limited Founded in 1972 RWDI is a leading wind engineering and specialty industrial/environmental consulting services firm based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Anemos Associates Ltd was formed in 2001 to offer clients the services of some of the United Kingdom's leading experts in wind engineering effects on buildings and structures.
RWDI Anemos is expert in wind engineering, wind loading effects on buildings and the wind environment, the design and performance of construction products. We offer a complete service from desk study to wind tunnel model tests, from full-scale measurement to failure investigation and expert witness work. We also sell and develop software - ranging from simple spreadsheets with built-in BS6399 wind speed functions to full Windows front-end programming. We will even provide training for your staff in the principles of design for wind and the use of appropriate codes of practice.
