New Wind Tunnel Operational

Following our recent move to bigger and better premises in Dunstable, about 40 miles north of London and close to the M1, the RWDI Anemos' new wind tunnel has been successfully tested and is now operational. A range of boundary layer profiles have been established covering different types of terrain and the test equipment has been transferred over from our previous facility at Cranfield.

Nicholas Cook, Director of RWDI Anemos, comments that "The process of commissioning has gone quite smoothly and has produced high quality profiles that match typical BS6399 profiles and the generic Deaves & Harris model of the atmospheric boundary layer."

Paul Freathy, Managing Director, adds "The office move and commissioning process has been hard work as we had to maintain momentum on our unprecedented levels of project work. The successful outcome in such a short time is a testament to the skill and dedication of all our staff and will now allow us to further expand our level of service to customers."
