New tile design
Design is closely allied to the product performance testing. One of the key aspects to construction product design is the way it succeeds in doing its job, whilst also achieving the aesthetic aims of the designer. Anemos is able to draw on its experience of testing and failure investigations to help clients achieve an effective, as well as attractive, product. This has been done, for example, in the design of a new roof tile for a client whose requirements were for optimal use of material, thin appearance and good watertightness. Over an extended period different designs were tried and the chosen one has now been patented and is in production.
