Another sculpture we have analysed is the 'sail' mounted atop the Bristol & West Headquarters building in Bristol. Again the issues were the possibility of dynamic oscillations and the potential for fatigue damage. Working closely with structural engineers Peter Goodhind Associates, we were able to recommend some detail changes to improve the likely fatigue performance.
