Zlote Tarasy

zlote tarasy

Wind-engineering services were provided for the proposed Zlote Tarasy Development in Warsaw, Poland. The primary objective of this study was to qualitatively assess the potential for exhausts from the proposed development to impact building intakes, entrances or key pedestrian areas. Testing a scale model of the proposed development in the boundary layer wind tunnel completed this assessment. During these tests, smoke was introduced into the wind flow around the scale model to make the wind flow patterns visible.

Other studies that were conducted for this development are:

  • Pedestrian wind study
  • Roof snow loading study
  • cladding wind loading study
  • structural wind loading study
  • air quality exhaust reentrainment study
  • HVAC flow visualization study and a sliding snow and ice consultation
