Download the zip file and then uncompress or extract the Sb3.exe file and place in an appropriate location on your computer. Create a shortcut on your desktop for easy access (right click on the Sb2.exe file, select "Send to" and then "Desktop as shortcut").
Use the text boxes or sliders to set the correct values for effective height, distance to sea and distance in town. The program will not allow invalid combinations - for example, being one kilometre for the sea but 2km inside town. Also, note that the sliders for distance have a lower limit of 0.1km because of the logarithmic scale). If you want to set 0km, just use the minimum 0.1km setting.
The program gives the value of Sb using the STANDARD method and also the value obtained by the "Hybrid" method described in the Code - which is usually lower.

This version corrects some screen resolution issues.
This corrects a minor issue with the slider for 'Distance in town' which arose when a very small value (<0.1km) was used. Also, the number entry boxes have been improved with 2 significant digits to allow more accurate use of the sliders.
