Software is an increasing part of our business, as we look for ways to help designers implement complex calculations and make use of best practice in their designs. Nick Cook is the author of the highly respected and well-used BREVe software that does all the hard work in BS6399-2:1997 for you. Anemos is pleased to be recommending and promoting BREVe and its sister program BRECp.

In addition, we are often asked to prepare bespoke software packages for specific client's needs. These include:

• A condensation risk analysis program
• A roof tile fixing specification program (PRoof)
• Instrumentation control software
• Spreadsheets to carry out specific design tasks

Our programs can be written for the Windows environment using either Delphi or Visual Basic, or we can also program in Fortran or Basic for a less graphical interface.
